What a wonderful running club we are ! An amazing 69 Striders completed the Summer Solstice 10K road race last night . The promise of beer obviously worked as 24 striders achieved a new personal best time with some completing their first 10K race.
A huge congratulations to our super Strider Stacey Atkins who completed the Ironman staffordshire 70.3 in just over 8hrs. Stacey achieved a PB in the 1.2 mile swim , then completed the 56 bike ride and a half marathon to finish ! Amazing achievement Stacey.

Friday night was race night as three Striders completed the Notts 10 mile event. First Strider to finish was Peter Davis in a time of 1:14:51 followed by Jean- Louis Balestra in 1:28:35 and Wyn Thomas 1.31:55. Well done gentleman.
