When? 18:45 – 19:45

What? Approximately 5k  run supported by numerous trained leaders in Running Fitness (LIRF) and including lots of encouragement and socializing with fellow runners. We always have a leader at the back so NO-ONE gets left behind on their own.

Why? To keep fit, meet new people and STRIDE FORWARD!

What?  Striders offers runners the chance to improve by running further distances, focusing on pacing and speed work . Led by Peter Davis (LIRF Trained ) with assistance from Peter Parker and Clive Owen this session is open to all members looking to improve.

Why? To improve and achieve personal goals

Wednesdays  –  2 goups

Who? Everyone Looking to Run 10k +

Where? Flowserve Social Club Carpark – Lowfields Works Hawton Lane, Newark NG24 3BU

When? 18:40 – 20.00

What? A run of approximately 10km broken into two groups the first allowing progression from 10k and the second group focusing on improving to 10km, both groups are supported by qualified leaders in running fitness (LIRF) and ensure NO-ONE gets left behind  or on their own

  5k Training Run

Where? Fernwood Community Centre-Rubys Avenue, Fernwood NG24 3RS

When? 18.45 -19.45

What? Approximately 5k training with a mixture of Tempo and Efforts.

We are always looking at ways to improve and provide further opportunities for our runners to meet and run.
We are proud to support Park Run on a Saturday morning. Park Run is a weekly timed 5km free event. Our closest Park Run takes place at Sconce Hills Park at 9am on a Saturday morning. Alongside opportunities to participate Park Run offers opportunities to volunteer.
On Sunday mornings (subject to events) leaders often arrange a longer distance run of 8-10 miles for those looking towards half marathons.
