I joined Striders in January 2014, I had never run before and really enjoyed the beginners group that Striders provide at the start of each year.

This group helped me get to a 5k distance safely in 12 weeks, which I was amazed at.
Since then I have continued to run with the club two evenings a week.
I now really enjoy helping new people to get started with running and hopefully get them hooked so that they then go on to achieve their running goals!
